Description:
I have a beautiful Colt SAA that was ordered by Hartley & Graham in 1883 that has been fully engraved, gold & silver washed. This Colt has a NY style engraving that H&G were well known for. This Colt also has some history behind it. In the grips is engraved "101" which is believed to be the 101 Ranch in Oaklahoma. At some point this Colt was converted from 44/40 to 22 LR. The 101 Ranch is well known for its reenactments similar to the Wild Bill Cody shows. The conversion to 22 itself brings light to the Cowboy Action shows that the 101 performed. Ammunition was not cheap and when performing 2-3 shows a day it became expensive. This is not an everyday find.
