Restoration work included: polishing to period-correct finish; color case hardened frame and loading gate; charcoal blued cylinder, barrel and parts; nitre blued screws and base pin.
This restored service revolver and old west icon has been beautifully maintained since its restoration. Most nitre retains its original brilliant blue, but some has faded as is possible over a 20+ year period.
