Colt Single Action in 44/40 has a solid 4-click action, and locks up good. Left Colt as a Blue, 5-1/2, 44/40; however, I DO NOT have a letter on this piece.
Bore is decent as a shooter; has some pitting, but decent rifling. Patent dates are visible, but horse is washed out; all matching serial numbers clearly readable; however barrel address is faint and the "Colt Frontier Six Shooter" is completely washed out from the Re-nickle. Grips are Ajax plastic. Metal appears smooth, full front sight, just re-nickeled.
Would make a great carry SAA or engraving project.
