Colt Single Action Army 1st gen .45 Colt

Description:
Colt Single Action Army, early 1st generation, in .45 Colt configured with 7 1/2" barrel, blued finish and wooden grips. Colt Archives letter states the gun was delivered to Spies Kissam & Co, New York, New York on August 1, 1876. Rifling is still visible in the barrel and the frame showing blue/brown patina, shows virtually no pitting or dings. Grips show wear but are tight. Frame, trigger housing, trigger guard and cylinder serial numbers match
