Description: SOLD PENDING FUNDS. Offered for sale is one (1) Colt Single Action Army, 1st Generation, .45LC, 5.5" barrel, blue and case-hardened, serial #351572 (all matching), mfd. early 1928. Overall finish rates 97+% with a slight blue loss at front of barrel on right side. Trigger has the niter blue finish. All screws have perfect slots, no damage. Same for the cylinder pin, just perfect. A very faint cylinder line. Case colors on frame and hammer are excellent. Bore is perfect. The two-piece black checkered hard rubber grips have the Rampant Colt embossed in an oval and both are full serial numbered (lightly scratched) on the inside. Left side of the 5.5" barrel is roll stamped "45 Colt". One line addres line reads "COLTS PT.F.A. MFG. Co. HARFFORD CT.U.S.A.". Left side of frame is roll stamped with Colt's "Two-Line/Three-Date" patent markings with the Rampant Colt trademark. Left front of trigger guard bow has a "3" assembler's mark above the Colt "Triangle/VP" proof mark. The assembly number, "923" is stamped on the inside of the loading gate and on the back of the frame on the right side under the grip. The full serial number, "351572" is stamped on the bottom of the frame in front of the trigger guard, under the grips on both the trigger guard and the back strap. A number "8" is stamped on the trigger guard under the left grip. For sale in lower 48 state USA and Alaska.
