Up for sale is a Colt Single Action Army rechambered in .45 ACP with a gunfighter length 4.75" second generation barrel fitted. Frame and backstrap serial number is 87777, but the trigger guard serial number is different. The color case hardening is still very nice and may be original, I just don't know. Lock-up is spot-on with all four clicks. I got this gun 30-years ago. It originally had a 5.5" barrel, but I had it changed to a 4.75" (gunfighter length) about 10-years ago. The barrel bore is 9.9/10 scale with a .451" bore diameter. The cylinder is a second generation Colt and has a chamber mouth diameter of .452". I have not shot it very much, but it is very, very accurate. The grips are replacements. Get a .45 Colt cylinder and you'll have a gun that will shoot .45 ACP, .45 Auto Rim and .45 Long Colt. This gun won't last long on this site given that Biden is about to go after our guns with more gun control that actually may affect pre-1899 firearms this time. You may email me, text or call me.
