For sale is a Colt Single Action Army (re)chambered in .45ACP (and .45 Auto Rim). I have owned this gun for over 30-years. It has a gunfighter length 4.75" Second Generation barrel fitted. The bore is a 9.9 / 10 scale condition. The bore diameter is .451". The cylinder is a Second Generation Colt .45 ACP with a chamber mouth diameter of ,452". This gun is VERY accurate. The serial numbers on the frame and backstrap match (SN 87777), but the one on the trigger guard doesn't. . Lock-up is tight with all four clicks. Cylinder timing is perfect. The grips are replacement. The frame color case hardening may be original, I just don't know for sure. All markings are good. Get a .45 Long Colt cylinder and you can shoot .45 ACP, .45 Auto Rim and .45 Colt. Given that gun control is coming, pre-1899 guns may be affected this time, this gun won't last long on this site.
