COLT SINGLE ACTION TEXAS SHIPPED 1ST GEN ORIGINAL BOX
Description:
SOLD As you can see in the pictures this is a nice Colt Single Action Army. On June 1, 1932 it shipped to Wolf & Klar, Ft. Worth, Texas for M. Harvey and Company of Baytown, Texas. This .32 caliber revolver was in a one gun shipment. Bore in the 7 1/2" barrel is bright and shiny. It shows little use. Action is smooth and it locks up fault tight. No Play in the cylinder. Grips are excellent and show virtually no wear. Fit is perfect, as you would expect. Notice the condition. A very high percentage of the original case color remains. Same for the original blue. Screws are excellent and don't seem to have been turned. All markings are clear and original. With the revolver you will also receive the original numbered box. The pictures of the revolver and the box clearly and fairly show the condition. Along with the box and revolver you will receive a hand written letter from the nephew of the owner. The letter states his dad and uncle moved to Texas from Missouri in 1936. There must have been another owner prior to Uncle Everett or the gun sat for a few years in the hardware store. Doesn't really matter though. You will like this Colt Single Action. It is nice enough for any collection.
