Colt US marked artillery DFC

Description:
Colt artillery with DFC insoector marks. This gun has an early 4 digit Ainsworth barrel and cylinder. Cylinder has 4 digit serial and the barrel still shows Ainsworth inspector marks.
Typical 5 1/2” barrel as done at the Colt factory. Great original patina. Lots of original finish. Very good action and lock up.
I will post additional photos of the serial numbers as I see my photos were not great. Frame is 1882 with the DFC markings there but soft. Possibly cleaned in that area.
Overall a great military gun.
