DFC INSPECTED COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER IN 45 WITH HOLSTER

Description:
4-3/4 inch round barrel chambered in 45 Long Colt caliber with a good shiny bore that has well defined rifling and some light roughness. The barrel has been shortened or replaced and has the one line address. Barrel retains the majority of a nickel finish that has less wear than the rest of the gun. Front sight has been filed down. The frame has about 20% of a nickel finish and is stamped "DFC" and the trigger guard is stamped with the sub inspector "G". These are rejected or condemned parts used to assemble a commercial gun. All matching serial numbers. Ejector rod is a replacement as is the hammer. Ivory are a later replacements and one has a Colt medallion and the other has some initials with a few chips out. Action functions . This Black Powder frame Colt SAA was made in 1882 and comes with a period double loop tooled holster.
