ORIGINAL COLT BLACK MODEL 1873 SAA POWDER SINGLE ACTION .45 LONG COLT CAL. 7 ½” CIVILIAN ARMY REVOLVER CA. 1888. All original with exception of the main spring which is a modern replacement. Matching serial numbers in the 126xxx range. Blue and case hardened with original one piece wood grips. Very good overall with traces of blue and case colors primarily in the recesses with the balance medium to dark patina. Excellent markings. Grips with approximately half of the original finish. 100% original and correct as to markings for the serial range. Excellent screws with much of the original blue. Perfect working order and excellent bore. Factory records for this serial number list 2 different guns shipped with the same serial number on different dates one in 1888 and one in 1890 neither of which conforms to this gun which is as described. With display case and quantity of early .45 Colt and .45 Schofield cartridges.
