Texas Shipped 1st Gen 4 3/4", .45
Description:
Took this 1st Gen short barrel .45 in on a trade not long ago and it needs to find a new home. SN 331591 was shipped on November 6th, 1915 as configured to C.L. & Theo Bering, Jr, Houston, Texas. As you can see, the majority of original blue finish is still present, as is both vibrant and muted case hardening. A very nice 1st Gen that will be 104 this November. There is a small chip on the bottom, inside corner of the left grip panel.
Screws are in very good condition. All edges are still sharp and clean. The barrel address, caliber marking, and patent dates remain strong, as is the rampant Colt. Matching sn's on frame triggerguard and backstrap.
A non firing 3 day non-firing inspection is provided, with buyer paying return shipping costs.
Shipping and Insurance included from my FFL to yours.
