Description: Sold RARE 2nd Generation Colt SAA .38 Special with 4 3/4" Barrels. Here are a couple beautiful revolvers that my friend's dad purchased new in 1958. He had taken up shooting and was very partial to Colt's. After he purchased them he sent them back to Colt and had them do a custom action job and install these beautiful stag grips for him. It is my understanding that the configuration of .38 caliber and barrel length 4 3/4" is very RARE Approximately 730 were manufactured in this configuration. It isn't often we see one of these come up for sale and i am offering two, custom tuned, matching models with their original black boxes and paperwork. These guns have been used for shooting but remain in beautiful condition with an action that is as good as it gets.
