Description: GOD CREATED MAN. SAMUEL COLT MADE ALL MEN EQUAL. Colt began production in 1873. 1st generation continued until 1940. Production for Colt, as with most firearm manufacture ceased in 1940 to retool for war effort. They produced 357,000 firearms in many configurations. In 1956 Colt began manufacturing SAA 2nd generation. This continued until 1975. Beginning in 1976, and are still in production, This gun: Colt SAA 2nd generation. .45c, 5 1/2" bbl. Ivory grips.
