This is a Second Generation Colt Single Action Army in .38 Special with a 5 1/2 inch barrel. The serial number dates to 1956 which was the first year of production post-WW II. Condition is Excellent overall. The case coloring is strong on the frame with almost no wear. The barrel has light blue wear at the muzzle and the front of the ejector rod housing and a shiny bore. The cylinder has light blue wear at the edges of the flutes. The hammer has light wear. The grip frame has a small scratch on the backstrap. Grips are in Excellent condition.
