Nice 2nd Generation Colt SAA in desirable 38 special, with 7.5" barrel.
This Colt is a 2nd generation made in 1959 (26570SA), still in nice condition as the pictures clearly show. Definitely, it has some honest wear, especially on cylinder, but nothing major to speak of. Not bad for a 67 year old second generation revolver.
The color case hardened still shows distinctive colors and shades! The chambers and bore are superb.
The action works flawlessly, with good lock up and a crisp trigger.
The 2nd generation factory colt grips have a different serial number than the gun but they fit perfectly and they are great, free of chips or any imperfections!
We shot this gun and it shot fantastically! We hit our. 16" target 85 Yards!!! What a shooter!!!
