*SOLD, PENDING ARRIVAL OF FUNDS*This Colt Single Action Army is an exact reproduction of the General George S. Patton single-action pistol. It is New In Box and was commissioned with an extra cylinder in .45ACP. The engraving is by Master Engraver Jeff Flannery. The grips are one piece elephant ivory with pre 1932 medallions(left and right, rather than all left, as post 1932 medallions). The left grip features the spread-winged eagle and two 'notches' in rememberance of one of Pancho Villa's Captains and a bodyguard killed during the 1916 incursion into Mexico chasing the bandit. The right grip panel features the initials "GSP", as per the original Colt. The grip frame features a lanyard loop, as per the General's. Every facet of this pistol is as per General Patton's Colt. The original was hand-inspected, measured and photographed for this reproduction. A copy of Mr. Flannery's certificate of engraving and appraisal is included.
