We offer you a “Gorgeous” Colt Single Action Army 3rd generation revolver chambered in .44 Special that was Smithed by Tom Sargis Jr at Bozeman Trail Arms.
The Colt was bought new in 1978 which is the year it was manufactured by the serial number 98915SA and tucked away in a gun safe. Recently it was sent to Tom Sargis at Bozeman Trail Arms where he performed his action job on it as well as an endshake fix and cut the forcing cone to 11 degrees.
This Colt is in gorgeous condition as you can see with excellent case colors. It shows no signs of use or wear on the bluing. The cylinder has a few very small turn lines that are not easily seen. On the hammer is a small spot of discoloration from sitting in the box over the last 42 years as shown. Both grips are in excellent condition with no signs of use or wear from storage. The chambers and bore are all excellent with no issues.
It comes with the original box and paperwork package as shown. The box is in very fine condition and still retains both end flaps when most do not. The two inner Styrofoam inserts are both in excellent condition with no issues.
