About Us: I have collected interesting firearms for about 60 years, and am a Benefactor/Life NRA member. I feel that it is now time to start selling a few things. NEW IN BOX COLT SAA 3RD GENERATION REVOLVER IN .357 MAGNUM
Description: Colt SAA 3rd Generation Revolver in .357 Magnum, New in the Box. I ordered this Colt for my boss in 1981 from The John Jovino Company in New York. I was working in the firearms department of his store and every time that something cool came along, my boss would buy it. He had a very nice collection, but only fired a few of the items that he bought. I was able to buy several items from his collection from his widow a few years after he passed away in 2006. This Colt SAA is unfired, shows no evidence of a cylinder ring, and comes in the original box that is numbered to the gun. The box is in fair shape with the styrofoam inserts and the papers that it came with. A lot of the handguns that we bought from the Jovino company came in boxes that looked as if they had been handled a lot. This SAA has the 7 1/2" barrel and is blued with great case colors on the frame. The serial number indicates that it was produced in 1980. There is a slight discolorationon the sides of the hammer that could probably be removed but I would not do that. This revolver is a time capsule that has not really seen the light of day in over 40 years. If you are looking for a nice 3rd Gen to collect, or even one to shoot, there are not many nicer than this one. Buyer pays Insurance and Shipping. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired and some have been only visually inspected. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege.
