#4953 Colt S/A 7-1/2”x45, 59XXX range (1880), ), VG++ to Fine bore, about a 8 on a scale of 10 and having a tight smooth action with all the clicks on the hammer. The overall smooth plum-brown metal looks very good and basically smooth with no appreciable pitting except for some freckling of very light pitting with most of that being on the top strapof the frame with a small amount on the barrel. It does have VG markings, correct hammer, Bulls-eye ejector head, and all matching numbers with the exception of the one-piece walnut grips, which are no doubt very good and well fitting replacements. Overall, this Colt is onsiderably above the condition of most Single Actions that are usually found priced in this same age and price range. Handsome 1880 revolver! VG/ VG+ $3695
