We are offering for sale an antique COLT Model 1860 Army Revolver chambered in .44 Caliber. This revolver was manufactured in 1863 on a 3-Screw frame. The gun remains in very good overall condition with a perfect plum patina! FULLY MATHCING NUMBERS EXAMPLE!
8” barrel is very good with light general surface wear; Brown/Plum patina. The bore on this revolver is excellent! The bore surface remains excellent with light overall wear; Strong, crisp rifling present. Original brass blade fixed front sight. The plunger is very good with matching patina. The cylinder remains in very good condition. The Naval battle scene is still visible with matching numbers. Cylinder locks tightly with excellent timing. The frame is good with plum patina; Light oxidation wear on right side near screws. Trigger and hammer function flawlessly. Brass trigger guard is very good with patina. Original grips are good; Previous owner etched a “J” on left side above still-visible cartouche. Steel backstrap is very good with patina.
