Colt Single Action Army 3rd Generation Model P1770 in 44 Special, SA26XXX manufactured 1979. Features 7 ½” blued barrel with color casehardened frame, fitted with black checkered eagle grips. According to Don Wilkerson’s survey, 3,917 revolvers were produced in this configuration. Condition is as new showing only minimal light handling marks. The accompanying factory letter verifies the features of the revolver & states it was shipped as 1 of 2 to Ashland Shooting Supplies in Ashland, Ohio on February 13, 1980. Complete with Colt factory woodgrain box with matching end label numbered to the revolver, hang tag & papers.
