Downsized Copy of COLT Single Action Army Revolver .38 Centerfire 6-Shooter Made Circa the Early 1900s!
Description: Downsized Copy of COLT Single Action Army Revolver .38 Centerfire 6-Shooter Made Circa the Early 1900s! Here we present a very interesting Downsized Copy of a Colt Single Action Army Revolver in .38 Centerfire, manufactured in the early 1900s, whereabouts unknown. The Colt “Peacemaker” was introduced in 1873 and has become one of the most iconic firearms in all of history, thanks to its widespread use by the U.S. military, civilians and, more recently, in Western films. Someone did a great job in duplicating most of the details of this revolver down to putting a Colt’s barrel address on the top of the barrel and making hard rubber grips that look a lot like the original with the rampant colt and the eagle at the bottom. This one has a hole in the bottom of the grip frame for a lanyard ring. There are a few little notches carved into the bottom of the right grip. The cartridge for which it was chambered originally is unknown, though a .38 S&W fits nicely in the cylinder. It is supposition, but this may have been a one-off built for fun or perhaps part of a small production. The overall condition is good. The iron parts have a gray-brown patina. Most of the markings are not quite legible. The grips are worn smooth. The bore is dim with visible rifling. The action is strong and the cylinder does index properly. The accompanying hand-tooled leather holster is in very good shape. An interesting little piece with an unknown origin! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 6 inches. Caliber: .38 Centerfire Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1400 #190230 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
