What we have to offer today is a very rare Colt SAA 1st gen Long Flute.
There had been 1478 Colts made with Long Flute cylinders in the serial # range 330000 to 331479
1913 - 626
1914 - 579
1915 - 274
This one was made in 1915 so basically we talking about being the most rare gun out very rare gun range
Gun stamp with #1 assembly mark which stands for Arah Libbey work. VP stamp and another very interesting feature there's 6 point star stamp on the right side of the trigger guard. This means that this gun was back to the factory to be reworked and I believe that was the time when barrel was shortened from 7.5 to 5.5
Revolver demonstrates perfect timing, 4 distinctive clicks, perfect lockup in SAFE/HALF COCK/FULLCOCK. It was never buffed or reblued, all stamps and numbers are crisp and unaltered as a matter of fact color case hardening could still be found in few places on the frame along with fire bluing in the cylinder flutes
Not all long flute Colts were documented with Colt archive as such but this one comes with factory letter that states that this is in fact long flute configuration!.
Payment, Shipping
I already have $6500 offer on this gun from another collector and I'm not interested in any trades
First $7500 gets it shipped to FFL or C&Rs.
