Exceedingly Rare John Linebaugh 45LC Revolver #16

Description:
Here is a rare opportunity to own a one of a kind Linebaugh Custom handgun.
Built in1985 for a close friend of Ross Seyfried. This particular revolver has a 6" barrel and is built on a United Sporting Arms frame. The USA frame is SN# 5-00301 and marked .44 Magnum. This revolver was hand stamped by John as the 16th revolver he made while he was still in Cody, Wyp. John worked his magic on this revolver and converted it into a .45 LC. It is almost an exact match to the revolver that Ross had built by John Linebaugh to hunt cape buffalo in Africa, except this one has a 6" barrel. Much can be read about the history of Linebaugh revolvers as well as the article written by Ross detailing his buffalo hunt where he used his Linebaugh handgun to take a giant bull. The load Ross developed was driving a 345 grain bullet at nearly 1500 FPS.
