Cowboy set with Rifle and 2 Revolvers in 44cal - $2750
This set of guns have all been customised for Cowboy Action match shooting. Please read description carefully.
Marlin 1894 CB Limited with custom pistol grip stock. It has the factory 20" octogon barrel chambered for 44mag and 44spc but has been "shortstroked" to improve speed when cycling. The lever action has a shorter travel length to cycle 44 special and 44 Russian length ammo. It functions perfectly with this modification for the shorter 44spc and 44 Russian length cartrides. It will not cycle the longer 44mag length cartidges.
The Rugers are customised to shoot 44 special and 44 Russian. They will not chamber 44mag catridges.
These revolvers are highly customised Ruger Blackhawks for speed and handling. They do not have the safety transfer bar mod. The frames still have the factory roll marks and they began as Old Model Blackhawk 357 which have had the cylinders milled out, polished and throated to .430 for 44cal. The barrel blanks were milled and do not have the Ruger roll marks. The top straps have been shaved and milled and the front blade sights added to resemble the Colt Peacemaker. They have been fine tuned and function flawlessly. They have a brushed nickle plate finish and clean up nicely. There is light surface wear from normal use. Needless to say, hundreds have been invested in these guns by the previous owner, who was my uncle. He was a retired Federal Marshall and took this hobby seriously. I know thier history and have personally tested these guns. Fell free to contact me with any questions.
