1926 Dated ENFIELD Mark VI .455 Webley Cal. BRITISH MILITARY Revolver C&R WORLD WARS British MILITARY Service Revolver!
Description: 1926 Dated ENFIELD Mark VI .455 Webley Cal. BRITISH MILITARY Revolver C&R WORLD WARS British MILITARY Service Revolver! Here we present a Mid-War Era British Enfield Mark VI Revolver chambered in .455 Webley, made in the London Burrough of Enfield, England at the government owned Royal Small Arms Factory in 1926. During the production run between 1921 and 1926 there were approximately 27,600 revolvers produced. The Mark VI was designed, developed, and manufactured by Webley and Scott starting in 1915. The British military officially adopted the Mark VI revolver from 1915 to 1923. The iconic Webley top-break revolvers served the British armed forces in various incarnations from 1887 to 1963. This revolver is chambered for six rounds of “Man Stopping” .455 caliber ammunition. Though they were considered obsolete in favor of other arms in the late 1920s, they remained in service through and long past the Second World War and saw action during the conflict. This is a full-sized British military revolver and features a top-break design with an automatic star ejector. Numerous proofs are observed throughout. The overall condition is near fine. The action is strong. The bore is bright with nice rifling. The grips are solid replacements. The frame is dated “1926.” A hearty sidearm for the British military fighting during WWII! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 6 inches. Caliber: .455 Webley Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1765 #201131 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
