This carbine is in fine condition with approx. 90% barrel blue. The bore is very good with some erosion. The frame is a pleasing blue-brown. Both swivels are present. The stock is excellent with no cracks or chips. The German silver plated trigger guard and butt plate are fine. The top of the barrel is marked FRANK WESSON WORCESTER MASS. over PAT'D OCT 25 1859 & NOV 11 1862. The action functions correctly. This is a very fine Civil War era Frank Wesson military carbine.
