Freedom Arms Model 97 Premier Grade Single Action Revolver in 45 Colt
Description: Freedom Arms Model 97 Premier Grade Single Action Revolver in 45 Colt This Freedom Arms Model 97 is a fairly early 2002 Premier Grade 5 shot revolver in 45 Colt. Manufactured in stainless steel with a stain finish. This is a Premier Grade revolver built on a Model 97 frame and has a 5 1/2"round barrel. This gun features a semi-ramp serrated front sight, fixed rear trench type sight, Condition: The overall condition of this Freedom Arms 97 revolver is fine, having seen some light use over the years but well taken care of. Being a Premier Grade it has the satin stainless steel which rate excellent. The smooth laminated rosewood factory grips rate excellent as well with a few handling marks. The bore is mint. This revolver was made in 2002 and is a smaller 97 frame in .45 Colt and is capable of handling the heaviest loads. Freedom Arms are known for the high quality, exceptional tolerances, and excellent durability. They are probably the finest single action available today. This is an excellent revolver that has seen very little use, in a popular caliber and a good price. NOTE: I called Freedom Arms about this revolver and they confirmed the date of manufacture. I had asked about whether this gun had an action job and they were not able to tell me specifically. Standard trigger pull on Model 97's is approximately 4lbs. I measured the trigger pull on this gun and it is 3lbs exactly which probably indicates that it had a trigger job.
