Serial No. 6387, circa 1900, .455, 7.5"" Wilkinson Gunmakers Pall Mall London S.W. marked barrel. Scarce to see a target model Fosbery made by Wilkinson. Approximately 45% original blue remains with most being on the frame and cylinder. Back strap is marked ""H.Delmege. 21st Lancers."" Bore is very good with minor frosting visible in the grooves. Brown wooden checkered grips show light wear along the edges. Major Delmege did some time in India before the war. During the war he would be wounded on the front where it would half to transfer to half pay list in 1919 ultimately retiring in 1920. Since this revolver was sold in 1913 it is to assume he carried this firearm throughout the War. Revolver comes with original belt, holster and ammo pouch.
