SWISS 1882 SCHMIDT RUBIN REVOLVER RIG
Description: SOLD Reduced! $1150 This is a great example of an early Swiss Officer Schmidt & Rubin Revolver, made in the early 1900s. The gun is all original and matching with a fairly early serial number, excellent original blue with around 97-98% remaining. Very strong straw colors on the small parts. Excellent bore and grips. The gun is fairly small - about the size of the Nagant revolver, but with much more pleasing lines and unsurpassed Swiss quality of fit and finish. This gun has just a tiny bit of holster wear on high spots. It was privatized in 1924, as Swiss officers could elect to keep their sidearms after leaving the service. Tiny import mark on the lower edge of the frame above the trigger. You really have to look hard to notice it. Comes with a very nice original Swiss holster, maker marked and dated 1911. This is probably one of the finest examples out there. 3-day inspection. $30 shipping in CONUS FFL or C&R(where allowed) Layaway available. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
