High Original Condition, All Matching, Swiss Military 1882 Bern Military Revolver, cal 7.5, with Correct Military Holster Dated 1918.
Description:
Standard configuration Bern 1882 SA/DA military revolver with 4.5” barrel having fixed front and rear sights. Matching parts include barrel, frame, cylinder, cylinder pin, hammer, trigger, loading gate and ejector. Most of these also marked with assembly number “146”. Deaccessioned in 1960 as reflected by “P60” as marked on the left side of the frame. Major parts are rust blued with strawed small parts. Wood fluted grips. Butt with rotate-able lanyard ring. Discrete import mark under barrel. Complete with a standard military holster dated 1918 having canvas cartridge loops, paired belt loops and shoulder strap.
Condition:
Near excellent original rust blued finish. The strawed parts with fading and oxidative staining as photographed. Comparable condition grips and butt cap. Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Excellent manual mechanics, each cylinder indexing nicely.G/VG holster and shoulder strap. A very nice condition, mid-production, no excuse, Bern 1882 revolver Swiss Military rig.
