Attractive, Original Finish, Waffenfabrik Bern 1882 Commercial Revolver as often used by Border Guard (Zoll) with fluted wood grips, a tight lockup, and a mirror bore.

Description:

Late configuration Waffenfabrik Bern Model 1882 Commercial Revolver, cal. 7.5mm, with 4.5? octagonal barrel, fixed front and notched rear sight. Full "P" prefix serial number"P22581" on left side of frame that is repeated on the left side of the barrel and on the cylinder, with the last few digits marked on the hammer, trigger, loading gate, and ejector. Most with assembly number "921". Cylinder axle number "098" . Fluted wood grips with single screw. Lanyard ring present.

Condition:

Near excellent, approximately 97%, bright original rust blue with holster wear in usual locations. Comparable condition strawed parts with flecked oxidation and contact surface fading. Grips retaining most original varnish with scattered handling marks. Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Superb lockup with virtually no cylinder movement on full cock.
