RG (Rohm Gesellschft) Model RG-24, .22 S/L/LR Caliber, 6-Shot Revolver, Made in Germany Pre-1968

Description:
This RG-24 is a single-action/double-action, six shot revolver, with a 3 ½ inch barrel, swing-out fluted cylinder, 3/8-inch-wide hammer, a 3/8-inch-wide smooth-face trigger, original plastic checkered grips, and fix front and rear sights. The gun was manufactured in Germany (stamped on the barrel) sometime before 1968 when, due to U.S. importation restrictions. the company opened production operations in Miami, Florida under RG Industries.

The overall condition of this gun is about 98 percent, pretty good for a 50+-year-old gun. It retains 99 percent of its original blued finished. There is a cylinder lock scar completely around the cylinder, but that does not affect the operation of the gun. On the left side of the revolver, on the frame, just below the front of the cylinder, there is a ¼ inch scratch. The original plastic grips are in excellent condition - 98 percent. There is a touch of wear on the thumb rest on the left-side grip panel. There is no damage or wear to the checkering.
