Excellent H&R Large Frame 4th Variation "22 Special" Revolver 22 LR Model 944 Built 1934
Description: Serial #585516, .22 LR, 6 inch round ribbed barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Harrington & Richardson Arms Co., "22 Special" large frame, 4th variation Model 944, 9 shot revolver featuring a gold plated front sight and oversize checkered walnut grips. In excellent condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain about 97-99% of the original blue finish with very slight wear at the muzzle and several tiny use marks and freckles.
