Harrington & Richardson Small Frame 2nd Model 32 Hammerless Top Break
Description:
Serial #174309, .32 S&W, 3 inch round ribbed barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Harrington & Richardson Small Frame Second Model Hammerless revolver identified by the barrel rib markings as a 3rd variation built circa 1909-1912. In excellent condition the metal surfaces retain virtually all, 97-99% of the original bright nickel finish with a hint of wear at the muzzle and scattered light scratches that do not penetrate the finish, with a few tiny flakes and a hint of clouding at the butt. The blued components remain mostly strong with a bit of fine oxidation and a few dings. The smooth genuine mother-of-pearl grip panels rate very good plus showing minimal wear with the main apology being a chip at the throat of the right panel. All markings remain crisp, it retains its original front sight, and appears to function well mechanically with functioning ejector and no discernible barrel-to-frame play. This will make an great addition to any H&R collection. FFL or C&R
