HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON Top Break AUTO EJECTING Double Action C&R Revolver Small Early 20th Century Conceal & Carry SELF DEFENSE Revolver
Description: HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON Top Break AUTO EJECTING Double Action C&R Revolver Small Early 20th Century Conceal & Carry SELF DEFENSE Revolver Here we present a Harrington & Richardson Auto Ejecting Double Action Top Break Revolver, made circa 1905-1940 in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 1875 Gilbert Harrington and former Frank Wesson employee, William Augustus Richardson, formed the new Harrington & Richardson Company. In 1888 the firm was incorporated as The Harrington & Richardson Arms Company. Their original capital investment was $75,000. Harrington was president, Richardson was treasurer, and George F. Brooks was secretary. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense. It is chambered for 6 shots of .32 S&W, making it a small, concealable and effective self-defense revolver. The overall condition is good. The actions is strong, although the trigger return spring is a little weak causing the trigger to need assistance resetting. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. 80% of the original finish remains. The high traffic areas on the cylinder, and around the grips, have matured to a dark gray patina. The right toe of the grip has chipped off. The “jazz age” was filled with gangsters and career thugs. Here we have a great example of a revolver that would have been used by both good and bad! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 3-1/4 inches. Caliber: .32 S&W Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $465 #20262 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
