Manufactured in Hamden CT. in 1956, This is a Great Shooter/Collector Example, Condition is Very Good, You may see dings, dents, scratches, finish blemishes, Gun is Mechanically Perfect, Test Fired with CCI Standard Velocity, This was a Treat to Shoot, I actually shot an entire sleeve at the range!!! Manufactured in Hamden CT. in 1956, This is a Great Shooter/Collector Example, Condition is Very Good, You may see dings, dents, scratches, finish blemishes, Gun is Mechanically Perfect, Test Fired with CCI Standard Velocity, This was a Treat to Shoot, I actually shot an entire sleeve at the range!!! The High Standard Sentinel, designed by Harry H. Sefried II, is a remarkable firearm worth appreciating. Sefried was a highly creative designer in the firearm industry during the latter half of the 20th century. He played a significant role in the development of various models for High Standard and later served as the chief engineer at Sturm, Ruger & Co. for 20 years. The Sentinel, introduced in 1955, initially known as the J. C. Higgins Model 88, was a 9-shot revolver. It was sold by various companies, including Sears Roebuck, Western Auto, and ARMAMEX. The frame, made of black anodized cast-aluminum, gives it a seemingly cheap look, but the quality lies in the details.
