High Standard Longhorn Convertible Pistol, .22 Caliber, 9.5" Barrel, 2.5 lbs.
Description:
The High Standard Longhorn Convertible is a vintage rimfire revolver produced by the High Standard Manufacturing Corporation mostly during the 1960s and 1970s. Part of their famous "Double-Nine" series, it was cleverly designed to mimic the classic appearance of an old Western single-action "cowboy" revolver, while secretly utilizing a modern, rapid-fire double-action trigger mechanism. The 9.5-inch barrel variant stands out as a highly accurate, long-range "buntline" style plinker. The "Convertible" package shipped with two distinct, user-interchangeable cylinders. This lets you shoot cheap .22 Long Rifle (and shorts/longs) or quickly swap components to shoot high-velocity .22 Magnum (.22 WMR). .22
