Hopkins & Allen Ranger Factory-Engraved Ranger No.2 spur trigger revolver 32 Rim Fire with a 2 ½” Barrel and Manufactured in Norwich, Connecticut in 1880’s. Features full scroll and dot engraving and retains approx. 90%+ of its original nickel finish with minimal overall loss. The 2 ½” round barrel has a good bore with strong rifling and light erosion. The action is crisp and completely functional with perfect timing. The top strap is marked HOPKINS & ALLEN MFG. Co. over Ranger No 2 over PAT. MAR. 28 1871. The Pearl grips are in very good condition with no cracks or chips. This is a nice looking H&A Ranger No2. And they were a favorite by the gamblers of the day. The cylinder pin is been replaced.
