Iver Johnson and Martin Bye Tycoon No. 2 Spur Trigger Revolver with 2 Tone Finish
Description: 1870's era "TYCOON NO. 2" revolver in .32 Rimfire Manufactured by Iver Johnson and Martin Bye, the forerunner to the Iver Johnson Cycle Works. Nickel frame with blued cylinder and barrel. The grips look like they might be butternut which is lighter than American Black Walnut. Frame has about 99% original nickelt plating while the cylinder has around 70% blue mixing with patina. Barrel has no blue remaining. Grips are in Very Good condition. Action works. Nice example of an 1870's era "Saturday Night Special" that were simply stamped with nicknames on the top of the frame or barrel. Antique, Pre-1898 in accordance with the Gun Control Act of 1968.
