Made Circa the early 1900s in Fitchburg, Massachusetts

Here we present an Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works Safety Automatic Hammerless Double Action Revolver in .32 S&W, made circa the early 1900s in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The production run for this revolver was 1897 through 1941. Iver Johnson was a U.S. firearms, bicycle, and motorcycle manufacturer from 1871 to 1993. The company shared the same name as its founder, Norwegian-born Iver Johnson (1841–1895). Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The revolver was a small, sturdy, well-built self-defense weapon, ideal for potent conceal and carry in the closing decades of the tumultuous 19th Century continuing on into the years leading up to the Roaring Twenties.

The overall condition is good. The homemade grips make this one look worse than it is. This one bears about 45% of the original blue finish. The markings are clear. The bore is in decent shape, mostly clean with just a small patch of light roughness near the middle. The action and indexing are excellent.

This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.
