US Revolver (Iver Johnson) .32S&W 5" barrel small frame top break revolver.

Very nice looking U.S. Revolver,   Made by Iver Johnson.  .32 S&W  5 shot,   5” barrel,  small frame, double action top break hammer revolver. Nickel finish , raised rib round barrel, auto ejecting.

Small frame .32 hammerless revolver, This particular model, serial number P15813 on the frame , was produced in 1906. The US Revolver 5” barrel appears to have been added latter with a serial #25332 under the barrel latch ,  indicates it was made 1911. The parts are interchangeable between US revolver and Iver Johnson revolvers. Difference being that the Iver Johnson frames had the hammer to hammer safety feature. US revolvers were produced and only sold to the mail order companies like Montgomery Ward , Sears etc.

Condition: 5” raised rib round barrel with a nice bore showing very minor spot pitting  and still retains very good rifling. The metal of the revolver still retains most of its original nickel finish and is in very nice condition, with only minor scratches, handling marks and a tiny bit of finish loss. Blued trigger guard with owl monogramed black checkered hard rubber grips  in very good condition with only minor wear, and the top-strap markings remain very crisp and legible.

Despite its age, this revolver is in very good condition and has been well-maintained. Excellent timing and nice lock-up.  Mechanically works very well in single and double action.   It's the perfect addition to any antique firearm collection or for those who appreciate a classic piece of history.
