The Magnum Research® BFR Single-Action Revolver with Long Cylinder delivers robust firepower from an ultrareliable, single-action revolver. The entire BFR is constructed out of stainless steel, except for the rubber grips. The barrel has cut rifling, which is compatible with either jacketed or lead-cast bullets. The counter-bored, unfluted, 6-shot cylinder features a free-spin pawl and unlocks by opening the loading gate. A transfer bar safety system allows safe carry in the field with all 6 cylinders loaded. A ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight furnish a fine sight picture for accurate shooting, yet do not interfere when drawing the gun from a holster. The beefy top strap comes drilled and tapped for a scope base.
