Marlin Model 1887 2nd Variation Double Action Revolver in .38 C.F. caliber featuring a 1 3/4 inch barrel, nickel plated steel frame, blued trigger guard, spur trigger and hard rubber grips. The barrel features the standard markings across the top. The hard rubber grips are of the 2nd variation type featuring the MFAC markings. The hinge screw is of the 2nd variation with the inclusion of the small screw over the large screw. Overall the condition is good with the revolver retaining 70% + of its nickel plated finish. There are small cracks forming on the flat portion of the grips. Serial Number 5453. Manufactured 1887-1889.
