Here we present an antique Marlin No. .32 Standard 1875 Spur Trigger Pocket Revolver, made circa 1880 in New Haven, Connecticut with a production run from 1875 through 1887. This variant features a round-ribbed barrel and short cylinder flutes with only about 19,500 of these revolvers produced. The revolver bears much resemblance to Smith & Wesson’s pioneer top-hinge cartridge revolvers. During a time when many, if not most people carried a firearm, these affordable little revolvers were small enough to conceal and carry, yet provide some level of protection or peace of mind, even when the town did not allow firearms within its limits. The overall condition is very fine. Original nickel finish. The action is excellent. The bore is clean with sharp rifling. The grips are in fine shape. Own the original!
