Condition

Near new. The revolver retains 98% plus of the original nickel-plated finish. Wear is limited to a few very minor storage marks and a 1/4 inch patch of flaking on the top of the backstrap at the junction with the left grip. The hammer, trigger, trigger guard, and cylinder latch retain 97% of the color casehardened finish with strong case colors. The barrel and frame markings are crisp. The hard rubber grips are in excellent condition and show almost no wear. The cylinder lock up needs work; otherwise, the revolver functions. This is an exceptional example of a very desirable Merwin, Hulbert & Co. Large Frame Open Top Single Action revolver.
