The six-shot Italian 10.35mm Modello 1889 Officer's model has a round barrel while the enlisted model has an octagon barrel. The 3.5"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The revolver retains most of its blue with the straps and trigger guard turning brown. It is marked METALLURGICA BRESCIANA over GIA TEMPINI over BRESCIA on the left side of the frame. The right side has a round trade mark with 1921 below. The checkered grips are fine with no cracks or chips. The laynard loop is present on the butt. The action functions correctly. The Italian Army used the Modello 1889 through WWII.
