Nice Italian Model 1889 Bodeo Revolver
Description: Serial #CS7387, 10.4mm, 4 1/2? octagon barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a few very minor specks of freckling near the muzzle. This is a 1926 dated, enlisted model revolver with folding, guard-less trigger that retains 95-97% of a nicely re-applied salt blue finish that has left the edges and markings fairly clear and crisp. There are further spots of minor fading and freckling on the barrel towards the muzzle and on the rear of the frame and gripstraps. The fluted cylinder has some further light oxidation along the edges of the flutes. The knurled wooden grips are in good condition but have moderate-heavy wear with minor handling marks throughout. The mechanism is fully functional and has good timing and lock-up. These are seldom seen revolvers and this example is in very good plus condition overall; still a nice representative example for a collection.
