Description:

U.S. Model 1842 Navy Percussion pistol. Manufactured by N. P. Ames. Lock is marked and dated “U.S.N. 1845”. This is a very fine example with perfect and clear markings. Stock cartouche is clear, but has some light lacquer over it. Metal is sharp with no abuse or pits. Very fine Ames box lock navy pistol.
